Just purchased a 2014 Patriot Latitude 4x4. I plan on using synthetic oil for my oil changes. I seem to recall when synthetic first came out that the recommendation was to hold off awhile (first 10,000 miles?) before using it. I believe it had to do with synthetic preventing the piston rings...
Anybody run the Mobil Ow-20 synthetic in their Pat? I used it in my old Ram to a pretty good MPG and Power increase. Just wanted to see if anyone got some experience with it.
And to Nip it in the bud... Yes 0w-20 meets and exceeds 5w-20 req's.
