    I am planning on putting a sub in my Jeep Patriot 2011 spare tire well. Is there any other place other than the tailgate that will fit the tire? Maybe the bottom? Is there a mount for that?

    Well, I tried yesterday, and my brand new (not yet mounted on a rim) 225/65/17 spare tire did not fit in the stock spare tire location. Not sure if this is a bad thing though - I previously had a large plastic box full of gear and all of that gear went nicely underneath the storage space floor...
