I found this app online after swapping out my guage cluster caused my MIL to light up with a code that Torque could not clear. This is an app that works with a cheap ELM327 code reader. I had always thought that those ELM327 devices were uni-directional and could only read data... that is...
I'd like to read my transmission temperature from an ELM 327 OBD II scanner.
Does anyone know the PID to obtain the temperature?
I have an old USB ELM 327 scanner that I'm hooking up to my laptop (Mac or PC). I can type the commands in a serial terminal.
If that doesn't work, does anyone know...
So after I read Stonent's thread:
It was time to get my live data feed on.
I went a slightly different route by going with an Android Tablet and an application called Torque.
