Love my Patriot! Owned it 5 years. In very cold weather I would hear a pop when turning left going slow. No mechanic found issue. Last week it popped and cranked and felt awful! Drove it to mechanic who showed us the horror! Subframe rusted OUT! Fist sized hole!
Thank God Chrysler extended the warranty to 10 years and unlimited mileage... Just towed it to dealer.
