Anyone have one mounted in their Riot? I was thinking bout picking up one of the Kiddie ones and mounting in the rear compartment but wanted to see what or where my Jeep peeps are mounting theirs... 👍😜

I was going to mount one in the rear quarter driver side in front of the side window. I figured I'd be smart and buy a 5lb extinguisher, but the bracket opens the wrong way and it just wont work for me. Seems to only fit in that location one way with that size of bottle. Gonna have to get a 2-3lb extinguisher some day to put in that location.

I figured in that location would be perfect since it wouldn't affect the drivers view at all. Takes away no cargo space, and doesn't bother passengers.

Mine is still in the box and it fits nicely in the rear cubby where the Boston sub woofer would go.

I keep mine in my tool bag so if I ever get in an accident it won't come loose and come flying at me. I've seen a few mounted on the right side rear near the hatch.

I have the speaker and wish I had that cubby instead, as I always have gear in front of it anyway and I keep the cover pulled over as well. My wife has the cubby and we keep her extinguisher there. Mine is in one of the four Jeep organizer compartments.

If you don't look at your car when you walk away from it, you bought the wrong car.

Glad to see so many carrying extinguishers! I keep mine (ABC type) in the tire well beneath the cargo floor. I have a friend who saved his LeBaron with his (engine fire), and have since carried one in every car I own.

I had a fuel leak in my LeBaron a long time ago and got a fire extinguisher right after I fixed it just in case! I know mine runs a little rough on the really hot days so I won't be driving it in the middle of summer anymore. Glad that guy saved his car!

I have mine mounted on the Left side in the cargo area with one of these with a non ratcheting cargo strap to hold the extinguisher in place in case of a collision. mounted thru the plastic with 1/4" bolts and washers on both sides of the plastic. I'll get a picture up later I'm currently at work.

Ditto. I've never had to save my own, but twice I've saved someone else's.
