You tube has a video on removing the shift knob, just type in- jeep patroit shift knob removal - and it's right there,To weeks after i got my Patroit I ordered one $25 at dealer, they said won't guarantee it would fit cause it was for 07 compass but ordered it anyway part (# 0527 3590 AB,) ( w Jeep Logo) Patroit's and Compasses w/ auto trans have the same shift -stem - it did not change
from 07 till 17.So I pop it at the bottom w/a small screwdriver and the bottom part slides down then tugged the top part like hell and it came right up and off, put the new on reverse procedure looks great took 5 min.2015 Patroit hope this helps.

Here's one source:
https://www.moparpartsoverstock.com/...5273590AB.html

If you do a search for 05273590AB you'll probably turn up a few more.

Since it's apparently a discontinued part, you may want to confirm with the seller that it has the Jeep emblem on the top.

eBay is where I got mine. It was dirty AF and very worn looking, which is why I just swapped the top and didn't bother swapping the whole knob. The shift knob is actually three distinct parts, but Chrysler only offers the whole thing now, whereas older models you could order whatever piece you needed.
