Weird intermittent issue

I've got a 2014 Jeep Patriot Latitude 2WD - 3 times while driving yesterday, I heard a warning chime, several dash lights flashed for a moment and then turned off. My tach also dropped to 0 for a second before resuming. My dash display with the gear/temp etc was then flickering very fast until I turned everything off. Then I started it again, it was fine. I didn't notice any difference in how it handled, and by all accounts it's been driving fine. No code or check engine light was generated. I'm not sure where to begin with troubleshooting as I can't recreate it. Could it be a sensor or ground strap or something? Thanks.

Sounds electrical. I'd start with the battery and battery terminals, then verify the alternator is charging.

Hi hyker,
We are sorry to hear of this concern you are experiencing. Have you had a chance to bring this to the attention of your local dealership? As they are technically trained, they would be in the best position to provide further insight. Send us a private message if you have any additional questions.
