............ Yes, but no. the trailhawk cherokee has the 2 speed PTU and a real locking rear diff, so its immensely more capable. if it was in the new compass (a car I much prefer the looks of over other SUVs) I would be seriously tempted to buy one.

But Rosso's rebadged base model dodge caliber with useless hood louvers, air horns, and stickers is a "real Jeep"..... With no "driving crutches" like ABS or ESP.....

Louvers actually work on mine, thanks for not noticing. Plus it's got Jeep features that I can only assume it's Dodge counterpart wasn't available with, like crank windows and manual pretty much everything in the door. But again, y'all know I'm gonna word it like that and still get off track every time. Back to Tyler's Italian scallion in this thread.

Had a chance to play around with Track Addict which is an App that comes with the HP Tuners Module. You can run a variety of different lengths so I decided to test out 400m (1/4 Mile)

Vehicle stats for below runs (245/70/17 Tires + Skid Plates+ Spare Tire ) Full Tank of Gas
94 Octane + Can of Boostane and "special" Tune

Run 1 [email protected]
Run 2 [email protected]

Run 1 was going East
Run 2 was going West
Same Location

Stock Best [email protected] (1/4 Mile NHRA Track)
No skidplates, spare tire and running 255/55/18 tires. 1/3 Tank Gas

I know its not entirely accurate vs what a track is but this would seem to confirm my vehicle is faster by a fair amount. Prior to the tune, TB & Manifold
All data was from the GPS in my Phone and the HP Tuners MPVI2

Absolutely can't wait for the track in the spring time, I predict a [email protected] Pretty good for a 4600lb Fiat

2016 Cherokee Trailhawk V6
3.2L V6
Hazzard Sky Lift + Bilstien B6
HP Tuners Tuned 93 Octane
Ported 80MM Throttlebody
Ported Intake Manifold
DDM Tuning 55W HID
Northstar Deep Cycle AGM Battery
Noco Gen1 Mini Onboard Battery Charger
AFE Intake/Flowmaster Super 10 Muffler
245/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3/W

Those are pretty impressive numbers for a 4-banger.

Actually I believe Tyler has the V-6 to get his 4600-pound eggbrick rolling.

That's a pretty heavy egg! Then again, he's got half-again the horses and torque of a typical Patriot.

Tyler's results are pretty close to the Car & Driver runs. https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews...wd-test-review

Trailhawks are a bit heavier and the CD results are closer to sea level than i'm at.

Either way its encouraging to see some tangible results from all the work i've done so far.

that's something I've always appreciated about turbocharged cars, that they make their own atmosphere. I used to road trip a lot in my saabs, and climbing the mountains in colorado, and other places, they never lost power going up the mountains like NA cars would. and my fuel economy would be relatively the same.

Still not fully supported by HP Tuners yet, they have been helpful along the way, so I have faith they will be able to get something working soon. Granted I doubt they thought anyone would actually try and tune a 9 speed, so me being the first to try I expected some hiccups along the way
