How to take your Mygig out

hey everyone; i just bought a new Jeep Patriot Limited 2012.

And i was wondering how i take the MYGIG out (non navigational) because i want to make it so i can watch dvds while in drive.

Also whats everyones rim size? what size goes well but doesnt stuff your fuel economy up
