That a hot shade of yellow....nice hue.

Wow...Very nice...like them both. I think it needs a roof basket and in the second photo, caliper should be black maybe or yellow.

You're lucky your paint color is close to black now so you don't HAVE to paint the door jambs yellow. It looks sooooo bad when someone paints like a red car a nice blue and you can see the factory red when they open the doors, hood or trunk.

I work in a body shop and yellow is a harder color to get to cover, but it is a beautiful color. If you see one you like and know the year, you can call the dealership and get the paint code or a good body shop with a paint mixing system can figure out what it is. They should also do spray outs on a bigger card so you can see what it will look like. Look at the color outside on a cloudy day, a sunny day, etc. It would be really sweet to put a pearl coat on it too, but that would definitely add to your cost. One of our guys painted his brother's 87 CJ7 a bright green with a yellow pearl coat on it and it is definitely an eye catcher...wild, but cool. Make sure the body shop will completely disassemble and not just tape off. Clear coat needs to go around all of the edges, under the belt moldings, etc. If they tape off, it will peel in a few years. Go fo it!!!!!

If you go ahead with it, please choose the construction? yellow from the Wrangler. It's a really good shade and keeps it in the family.

I just checked the Aus Jeep website, and they call it Dozer Yellow. I knew it had something to do with construction.

has anyone painted thier patriot? Really love the orange... but had a hard enough time finding a 4X4 5spd, couldn't wait for an order so couldn't be picky on colors... wondering how costly it would be to do it right...
