I just picked some LEDs up. How the heck do you get the original bulbs out?... Does the fog light housing pop out the front somehow??? I feel like I'm close tp cracking some plastic!

I just ran the info on Google.

Thank you.

Those are awesome. Can you take a picture from inside the Patriot at night to show how well they light the road? And also show what they look like turned on with the headlights on the road? They look nice and I want some.

You don't happen to have part numbers or a link for the interior lights you got do you? Just taking a quick look, the stuff I am on ebay seeing is kinda generic, not very reassuring

all the interior bulbs seem to have a different number on them -.- BUTT they all seem to cross reference to a 578 :)

I'm looking at getting these Fog LED's,

yesss, im aware they are $90 but that's not really an issue :p It is a 28LED bulb versus the regular 18 bulb one, which just means more brightness lol, but since you tried yours and they work without any extras, i can go ahead and buy mine soon :D :pepper:

I love the look and brightness of my LED Interior light upgrade. I got CREE 42mm festoon style bulbs for each location for anywhere from $4-8 each. I tried several different ones on Ebay and even the cheap $3-4 ones work great! If you can afford CREE brand then go for it, they are amazing! I can't wait to do my fog lights with LED's since I use them as my daytime running lights and most of the time I drive anyway.

Be aware that LED fogs look nice, and the color is nice, and they appear brighter when looking at them right on. But they do not put the same light out - its far less than OEM.

I'll probably keep my stock fog bulbs in for a while since high output LED technology isn't quite there yet. I have seen some lately getting better and better color and brightness.

Just one 42mm festoon style bulb in each housing except the front one has one bulb on each side for the driver/passenger. I needed 4 bulbs to do my entire interior.

For the Interior LED's

On the left side of the light housing lens, there should be a notch just big enough to get a small-medium flat head screwdriver into there. Very carefully pry that open and the lens will swing downward or come off completely. Don't look into the light while you work, I blocked the light and used my flashlight to help me see what I was doing. Good luck!
