The Wax Shop Super Glaze Liquid Wax Hi-Def Gloss System
About 15.00 crazy nice shine a bit expensive but does not leave any white residue. In the past i have used Zymol but it leaves a white residue if you miss any spots and DO NOT get it on any pastic or have fun cleaning it off.

Conflicting information. First it says it is a pure polish, then it says "wets the paint with nutritive oils" and there are few abrasive. How can it polish without abrasion?

Autogeek are unfortunately misrepresenting that product. Plenty of information on the subject on the Meguiar's forum.
Maybe, but I don't frequent Meguiars specific detailing site. Plenty of diverse experiences at Autopia.

And, those of you using Dawn to wash your car, I would advise against it. It will ... strip any wax you have left on it.
That's the point, as part of prep for polish/wax/sealant. It is not something one should use on a weekly basis, only in a full detail prior to polishing. A quality car was shampoo is recommended for normal washes.

[Dawn will]...dry out your paint
Nope. Paint is hard, baked well above water's boiling point. There is no water to dry out. It does remove any oil including carnauba wax and glaze which appears to dry out the paint if it is dull to begin with. One should polish the paint to resolve this, not cover it with oil just to hide the flaws. Once polished, then a glaze and wax is fine for enhanced shine and protection.

If you want to remove the wax just clay your car after washing.
Seems a waste of clay to me to clog it up with wax.

You Zaino guys are relentless.
Thanks for the stereo type. I actually am out of favor of Zaino for several years, but have a lot of supplies and use it occasionally, always with a carnauba topper. I have many brands of products for various reasons, mainly because I value certain attributes of each type of product.

LOL, it's in your sig (Zaino'd 2007 4x4 25F). I'm not sure if you are arguing or agreeing.... but it sounds like we are saying the same thing. Can't argue with anything you've said. I just wouldn't use Dawn on my ride is all.... Besides the fact, all this cleaning, polishing, waxing... are we really seeing the true benefits of our efforts through Chrysler's hideously orange peeled paint? Probably not. After all it's a Jeep not a show car.... it likes to be a little dirty.

Meguiars also makes a NXT version, but I don't find it is any better for a quick touch-up:

I have used NuFinish. Yes, it does "bead" longer. But it does NOT give as good & deep looking a shine as the NXT. A good compromise is 3M Perfect-it Showcar Liquid Wax (3M owns Mequiars):
http://www.superiorcarcare.net/3m-liquid-car-wax.html
It's a little hard to find, but NAPA carries it.
\\No offense, but no thanks. Not interested in anything that won't stay on for a freaking month and a little rain.
My Cherokee is 13 years old and has has NuFinish applied twice a year and it obviously protects, because it still looks almost new, despite being out in the weather all the time.
I'm not interested in polishing, waxing or whatever every two or three weeks.

Definately not saying the same thing, reef.

Meg #7 is oil, to which a sealant does not stick.

A mild dish soap prior to polishing to remove any remaining wax/oil is cheap and effective. Do not use it on a weekly basis.

My Jeep does not have too bad of orange peal, not as bad as some vehicles I've had in the past. Guess the extra $225 for inferno red is worth it?

Just because I have used Zaino, does not mean I recommend it to everyone. In fact, I don't recommend it to anyone. But I know a lot about it and other products. I use S100 paste wax as a topper which affects the look more that the Zaino base. I'll change my Ride in CP as to not confuse you any longer.

I've used the NXT wax and really like the easy removal and the shine but due to the question of its' durability, I found my bottle of "Black Magic" wax which was highly rated and tried it out on my silver 2000 Altima. UGH - that stuff does NOT come off easy and it shows. I put the Black Magic back into hiding-

Anyhow, how easy (or not) is the NuFinish to remove after applying?

**side note - we replaced our '96 green Cherokee with the '09 Patriot. See you still have one of each...

NuFinish is easy on, ez off and very durable. I use it a couple times/year on all my cars and I use Final Detail spray wax every time I wash them. And an annual clay bar treatment too. Probably too much cleaning but for me it's relaxing.
