So I've been wanting to get the RRO lift for a while.. Lately I haven't had the opportunity because of how expensive the lift and installation is. In the next couple months I'm going to get it done aka meaning the wife approved me spending a few hundred dollars on the Jeep. So probably in April I'll have it installed. I'm really excited as I think that the Patriot should have come standard with the extra height.

Anyway, while searching this forum for random things. I came across a photo of a modified Jeep Patriot at an auto show. I'm wondering if this would be a good idea to copy.. Let me know of what you think of the Patriot below.. The only thing is i probably won't be able to copy the wheels.

Whoa, that old school military theme is FREAKIN COOL!

you could probably find old steelies like that for cheap somewhere?

Man, I wish I lived nearby to do the lift install with you. If we started out early enough in the day we would still have enough time to get it aligned, and go out wheeling.

The wheels on that green one are pretty hideous. Other than that, it's nice.

Yeah I think I'd keep my current wheels for now.

It seems I'm on the other side of the country from everyone haha. I'll let you know if I end up near Arizona anytime soon :-p.

Yeah I don't like em at all.. Their idea is pretty cool though.. The company who did that made a suspension lift for the Patriot. It never went into mass production though :-/

Revtek is the name of the company. I talked to em and they said they stopped development.. I wonder if we can persuade them otherwise.

^ would be cool thats for damn sure specially if it's a legit lift and not just a "spacer"-so to speak-like the RRO one is.

I'm not a fan of the military look unless it's on a old Jeep or a military-esc JK (like the matte sand colored JK-8's and stuff).

If I were you, since you have a earlier model Patriot than I do, I'd make my Pat look just like this one (minus the orange color)


I've got the TJ's already, gonna get the sliders and lift, and am going to get beefy-ish tires (not those Mud Terrain KM2's though, theyre DAMN expensive). I am probably going to dip my fender flare things like that too (though I'm sure that one is painted).

Someday I wish to have custom bumpers that are similar to the TAG ones but that are wayyy lighter and slimmer. Unless RRO makes this for our Pat's

Yeah thats an idea as well.. I can't get too crazy on my Patriot as my wife might leave me :-p

I'm thinking that i might get the same star like Cmoore and TJN have. I was thinking white but i might do black.. I dont think it'll get too dark though..

Right now i'm trying to find a shop to do the lift.. I've only gotten one shop that would agree to do it so far. Its a dealership here in Charlotte. My local dealership isn't answering my calls about it haha. Jerks... The others 4x4 shops in town are declining as well.. I really wish the Patriot got more 3rd party support. I mean its a Jeep cmon now...

I just did the research and theres an AF base really close to RRO so guess what I did? I updated my 'dream list'-as it is nicknamed-and Hill AFB is now on it

Was there for 3 years and it was fun but I don't mind not being therre It'd be a great place to vacation or visit but not live.

*Edit: my updated list has bases in Texas, California, and now one base in Utah lmao
