Do you drink?

Lady: Do you drink?

Man: Yes

Lady: How much a day?

Man: a 6-pack

Lady: How much does a 6 pack cost

Man: about $10.00

Lady: And how long have you been drinking?

Man: 15 years

Lady: So one 6 pack cost $10.00 and you have a 6 pack every day which
puts your spending each month at $300. In one year, it would be $10,800, correct?

Man: Correct

Lady: If in 1 year you spend $10,800 not accounting for inflation, the past 15 years puts your spending at $162,000 correct?

Man: Correct

Lady: Do you know that if you hadn't drank, that money could have been put in a step-up interest savings account and after accounting for compound interest for the past 15 years, you could have now bought a Ferrari?

Man: Do you drink?

Lady: No

Man: So where's your freaking Ferrari then?

Hahaha Nice!!!

He must have expensive taste in beer for it to be 10 bucks a six pack. I think a 6 pack of Sam Adams runs around 9 bucks.

Well I dont drink Sam Adams too often. I've been supporting my local breweries lately. It maybe more expensive, but it taste better than anything on the shelves right now. My brother bought a bottle of beer from a local brewery. The beer had been stored in oak barrels that were previously used for Jack Daniels. Kind of a cool flavor mix between beer and JD.

I hear you .... I support local as well 95% of the time in regards to beer. The majority of things I drink are from Miller which is 2 miles down the road from my house. Not only is it the freshest stuff on the shelf and local - but it happens to be one of the cheapest as well

They're not real good at math either. Maybe too much beer has softened the brains. Or maybe they're living in a time warp where there are 36 months in a year.

But in about 5 years he could have gotten into a Patriot.

I don't drink, smoke, and I don't play the lotto, or drink coffee but I had a friend that I carpooled with for nearly 5 years that was religious about two things: starbucks and her lotto ticket (she also drank and smoked) and during that 5 year time span she and I had a bit of a contest going on. Every time she went to starbucks on the way to work or bought a lotto ticket I would set that same money aside.

Lotto $2 x 2 times a week x 50 weeks (in case she missed one or two) x 5 years = $1000
Coffee $4 x 4 times a week x 50 weeks x 5 years = $5000

I used that money to pay for my Honeymoon and a few other things.

I tried to keep up on her packs of sigs and her bar tab, but I simply didn't make enough money, but If I did...

Pack of sigs $5 x 7 days x 52 weeks x 5 years = $9100

and I couldn't begin to calculate the drinking tab of a 21 - 26 year old single female... But IJust throwing a random number out there...

Say $30 a week for 45 weeks for 5 years? = $6750

so for just shy of 22k, yeah, she could have bought a new car...

Lotto = voluntary tax. Think your taxes are too low? Buy a lottery ticket. State governments have made millions off this scam for decades and nobody ever complains about it.

Did your firend ever say she couldn't afford health insurance . . . ?

I've been out of the game for a bit but don't they usually only have to buy the first one?
