Judgement vs Judgment
Which way do you spell it? I recently had a facebook post and one of my grammar friends flipped me some crap for using "judgement" rather than "judgment". I don't know where I picked up using "judgement" but my spell checker is fine with either spelling. I prefer to use "judgement" because it is more pleasing to my eye. "Judgment" is well.... an ugly looking word.
So which do you prefer? I believe in the US legal world "judgment" is correct, but outside of legal documents I will always use "judgement."

In American English, judgment prevails in all contexts. In Canada and Australia, in a non-legal context both forms are equally acceptable, although judgment is more common in Canada and judgement in Australia. However, in a legal and theological context, judgment is the only correct form.

Considering the dictionary has is spelled both ways, I'd say its user preference. I do agree that "judgment" is an ugly word.

..."In Great Britain and many of its former colonies, “judgement” is still the correct spelling, but ever since Noah Webster decreed the first E superfluous, Americans have omitted it. Many of Webster’s crotchets have faded away (each year fewer people use the spelling “theater,” for instance), but even the producers of Terminator 2: Judgment Day chose the traditional American spelling. If you write “judgement” you should also write colour.”

here is the ngram for judgement, judgment for American English. It clearly shows that I am in the minority, but I refuse to adapt. America is not a melting pot, it is a tossed salad. I'm going to be that annoying piece which has the e in it.
