Will these rims work?

Finally starting to save money to black out the Pat but i need to know if these will work. They are Ultra Wheels Gauntlet 237/238 Matte Black. 17x9. Bolt pattern:5x127 Backspace:5.47 Offset: +12mm

With the specifications I gave do y'all think these would work? Thanks, J.

Wrong bolt spacing. You want 5x114.3 mm, not 5x127 mm.

Hey guys. New member here. I recently saw some wheels on Craigslist that I am wanting to purchase for my 2008 patriot sport. The guy didn't include too much detail on the specs in the ad, but after some researching online, I found out that they are 18x8 wheels with a +40 offset and the bolt pattern is 5 x 4.5. The only problem is that the hub bore for the wheel is larger (72.64 mm) than the Pat's hub (67.1 I think?). I've seen some people talk about using hub centric rings and I didn't know if maybe that would solve my problem, or if I'm just out of luck. One of my friends thought I would still need some kind of expensive wheel adapters to make it work, but I just wanted to get some opinions from people who know more about wheels and my vehicle. I really appreciate any comments and feedback.

these shops normally sell you those rings when they sell you the rims, provided you tell them your vehicle details

Murph,

You won't need adapters as the bolt pattern is the same 5x4.5. You will need the hub centric rings though. The offset looks fine as well. The best way to know for sure is to test fit one of them to make sure it clears the brake caliper, strut, wheel well linings, etc.

Thanks, the_jeep_now! That's kind of what I was thinking after digging around in the threads on here and seeing other members talk about using them, but I just wanted to make sure before I commit to buying the wheels. It just didnt make sense to have to buy wheel adapters just because the bore is bigger on the new wheel. And I think I will definitely take your advice on doing the fit test before I buy. Thanks again.
