First home game tonight for the Penguins. Wish I could be there.
They've won the first two games against the Flyers and the Rangers, two good teams in our division, so up on points over them in this short season. And the Flyers lost their next two games too, making it 3 in a row, and the last time we had a short season like this no team that lost 3 in a row made the playoffs. The games have all been very good so far, more intensity than normal regular season games. Most have looked like playoff games I've seen so far.

At least the Pens came away with 2 points last night in Ottawa, good thing they can score in the Shootout. Every point counts in a short season like this.

I sure hope the Pens team that played in the first two games of this season comes back to play at home tonight, and the team that played the first two home games is gone.

Groundhog says an early spring, and Pens win both weekend games, and look better each game.
Was a great weekend for me.

Any Hockey Fans?
My cats won yesterday's game, but not so hot overall in conference or division. Just wish I could actually watch games on TV instead of streaming online.

Pens still on a roll, good game last night to beat the Isles. The PK and Fleury shined in that game, and a couple goals from players who don't normally score. Payback for them beating us on home ice. Good to see the Pens finally clicking together.

Wednesday's game was a fun one to watch, although the Pens allowed the Flyers to get to them again, and lost, but was still a fun game to watch.
Hoping to get home in time to watch tonight's game against Fla.

Going to Pens game tonight. They have not been doing well, defensively, for several games now. Last game they won in OT 7-6, and have had way too many goals against the last several games. Although that 7-6 game Saturday was fun to watch, it;s not the way to win games, especially in the play-offs.
I hope they play better tonight. I'll be going next Tuesday too.
