Ordering a Patriot (the 2014s are coming!)

After driving a 2013 Patriot with the 2.4L, we are sold on the bigger engine. Not sure if they updated the CVT again but the 2013 drove SO much better than our 2011. Anyway I went to my local dealer today to order a 2013 with all the options we want and I was shocked they said I couldn't! They informed me you can only order a 2014 from the factory (they said it started yesterday I think). Just thought I would let everyone know the 2014 Patriot is ready to order.

Two weeks into 2013 and you can already order the 2014........

I miss the old days when Sept./Oct. was the intro for most new cars.......
Kept things simple and exciting.

What will be the delivery time frame for your new Patriot??
I wonder when the first 2013's hit the showrooms?
The shortest model year in memory............ And I own one

I'm getting a 2013. As much as I looked forward to the 6 speed automatic, I'm always concerned about a "big" change like the transmission (reliability/performance reasons). The dealer also had no pricing info on the 2014s. We test drove a 2013 and really liked the way the CVT behaved compared to our 2011. The 2013s showed up (around here anyway) about a month ago! The salesman made a comment that he had never seen a new model come out so quickly.
