Hey guys and gals!

I was just wondering what kind of camcorders y'all have had experience with? The moms is looking for one and I was wondering what kind of input y'all had? I think she's on a $300 or less budget.. lol

With everything being digital now a days I myself have a Olympus digital camera which also acts as a decent camcorder.

The FLIP's are ok, my wife has one (less than $100) I have a Sony digital camcorder, small, 60X optical zoom, and does nice HD videos (Around $300). I also have a waterproof Sony pocket camera, that also does HD video, and the video is pretty good (bought on sale for $169).

Than again the built in camcorder on both our phones and on the DSLR camera are just a good. Have had no issues and quality is great.

DSC TX10, for the pocket cam. Love it, always have it with me, not much zoom, which is why I have the other digital cam with the 60X zoom. But I like how it's always in my pocket, and it takes high res HD video too. The one thing I wanted was durability, and it's shock proof (and I've dropped it onto to concrete and black top, no problems) and water proof so I could have it out in the woods while hunting, and for skiing, etc etc
