Theres been some drive train issues with 2007's and 08's right?

That have 75 k or more mileage how has it held up?

please state what kind of jeep you have(2x4, 4x4, fd1 or 2)?

what kind of miles did you buy it at or how many have you put on?

what kind of repairs you've had?

any previous owners who traded there in because they were too troublesome?

What drive train issue have you heard of?

I had to have my engine rebuilt at 104,000 miles, but I have not heard of this happening to anyone else. And I do have the lifetime power-train warranty, which covered all the repairs.

I have a 2008 4x4 Sport FDI that I bought last March that had appx. 44,000 miles on it. I now have a little over 50,000 on it. I have had no problems at all this far (knock on wood).

I have an 08 4x4 fd1 with 60000 miles. I bought it new. The only repair I've done is replace the right rear wheel bearing assembly.

I have a 2009 with just over 40,000 miles. No drivetrain issues at all so far. Not really any issues of any kind, just a split shifter boot, replaced under warranty,a broken TPMS sensor, and a squeaking from the front which was cured by lubricating the pillow mount on top f the front strut.

Sounds like you need a new serpentine belt.

My first post:

2007 Limited 2x4
164,000 miles
Runs great but I just put work into it.
At about 130000 miles it threw a P2004 code at me. I replaced the valve intake manifold.

Just replaced front wheel bearings.
Replaced oil pan gasket.
New Alternator, idlers, belt tensioner.
Replaced rear upper control arm, bushings went bad. Did the work myself on this thanks to directions from this forum.
Due for new struts, which I will also due on my own.
Third set of tires. OE tires Goodyears, got 65,000 off them.
Second set Michelin Hydroedge got almost 100,000 off them.

All highway driving in Southern California, so the miles have been pretty easy. I am very novice when it comes to doing the work on my own, so this forum has been great for me.

I've got an 08 Sport 4x4 with CVT and haven't had any drive train issues at all. Just passed 67,000 miles this month. What sort of complaints have your heard?

I have a 2008 4x2 CVT, bought at 20,000 mls and now at 79,000. Zero issues and zero repairs so far; just have regular maintenance performed at Jeep dealership. Never heard of anyone with drive train issues.

07 UK model 2.0 CRD and had no problems apart from drop links and bushes, the exhaust heatshield fell off today as it looks like it has corroded around the mounting points

I have a 2008 with 141,000 kms. replaced many suspension parts including control arms, bushings, struts. Some items more than once. All TPMS sensors went in year four so I replaced them with conventional valves. Three sets of tires and two brake jobs. Will replace car next year. Still undecided as to what I will get next.

Our 08 Patriot was built in Fall 07 and we have 180k km or about 110k miles on it with no drive train issues at all. I did get Moog balljoints and new tie rod ends and just got new front brake pads.
