Bought a 5/8 socket (long one) and 4 new NKG ZFR5F-11. I'm gonna check and replace the spark plugs tomorrow.

Well you need to have the right tools and if you do it won't take that long. I used a 3/4 socket wrench for most of the bolts. You also have to drill two holes in the rocker panel. I didn't do this yet because I was having issues with my drill. The holes are used to help support the front when it is weighted down.

If your looking into doing this just read the directions and take your time. It took me 3 hours only because I had to run to lowes to get the right socket and issues with a bolt getting stuck. Since the holes are already there from the factory it's actually pretty easy. The only hard issue is holding the plate and screwing on the washers and nuts. It helps if you have two people.

If you ever want to do this I can answer any questions since the directions aren't that great.

Yeah they do take away clearance. Since my Pat is FWD and I probably won't be crawling over rocks anytime soon it's not that big of a deal. I can take some pics of the clearance. But I think The Jeep Now has some from his install. I talked to him and be made a good point that the splash guards hang lower than the bars.

I guess that will be an easier fix instead of the lights. How do they attach? 3M tape?

Gotta do what you can to protect your Patriot as people drive like jerks and don't care if they run into you or not..

Based on the pic with three screws but I'm sure 3M tape will do too.

tires.

You don't even have snow packed into the wheel wells.

As my SRA's wear I'm beginning to understand everyone's dislike for them.
First winter they did well for me but with 40,000 kms on now...not so much.

Looks like we both need better rubber.
