Looks sort of like the old Trackers, they had 2 door and 4 door, both with the rear hatch.

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking. It looks just like a tracker.

Yea definitely a Geo Tracker or a Suzuki Samurai.

And nothing wrong with those vehicles, I've had 3 of them, and still have an 03 Tracker with almost 200K miles on it. One of the very few vehicles that can make my driveway in winter.

I think it would look better if there was some more 1/4 panel between the door and wheel well.

The 2 door patriot is a really cool idea, I guess I was envisioning more of a 2 door Cherokee than a Tracker.
