That is sweet. All Pats should sound that nice. Just like a real ricer.

It could be just like first 10 seconds of this:

There are more videos out there, but none as well done as this. For some reason people always put the camera on the ground behind the exhaust giving you no idea what it really sounds like. I also wonder what the CVT would be like with a custom exhaust. Exhausts sound good with shifting and burbles and things. But the CVT would just be "VRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!" could be very annoying. I'd have to see one in person to decide.
Taking the video of the vehicle's exhaust from behind lets you know what it sounds like to others/from outside the vehicle. To many that is more important than what it sounds like to the driver inside the cab. When I do exhaust upgrades and video it for people I do both; inside and outside.

That too, IMO, sounds like rice. Not as bad as some I have heard but I wouldn't do it. Loud exhuast just sounds like crap to me on 4cyl vehicles.

Yep and that's fine when the camera is held up off the ground and back a few feet. But when they place the camera on the ground, near the exhaust it's not an accurate representation to what the exhaust truly sounds like.

As for loud exhaust on a 4cyl. in general I agree with you. Off the top of my head the only exception I know of is a stock Neon SRT4. From the factory it had no muffler. They also had tuned the fueling so you'd get some nice pops and burbles on deceleration. The EPA cried foul and they can't make exhausts like that any longer.

Those whistle tips are a million times worse than the ricer fart cans.
