I'm not sure that black wheels would look good on my black Pat with black tinted windows (too much black) and I certainly don't like the chrome look. Yours looks a great combo though.
Black on Black with Black looks good. The all Black look is in, I think. Unless you are Old School like me. I like the Black look but just haven't done it.

Really diggin that look! Your pat looks way sick. I did have a question about rims and tires, I really like the looks of the hankook ones you have there. I like the steel wheels but I'm looking for more of a matte look. I found these,

summitracing.com/parts/BRW-942671240/

Do you think these would fit those tires? I'm totally new when it comes to all this tire lingo. I believe all the dimensions are the same as the unique's you have there. Just double checking here before I venture forth and look like an idiot at the tire shop

thanks! it'd be going on a '09 un-RRO'd pat

dtolz, any updates? how is the setup performing? any MPG hit? I went to DiscoutTire to get a price quote and the guy was looking at me like I was crazy. Per his computer they wouldn't fit because of the offset. I told him that several people run this setup and it works fine. Also he told me that center caps are sold separately but then I checked their website and it states that center caps come with rims. So the quote he gave me was $386 "out the door."

I love the setup! I havent had any issues whatsoever. They perform great in the Colorado snow...including a single-day storm that dropped 14 inches on us. They've been great in all weather conditions actually, which is by far the most pleasant surprise I've experienced with these tires. I haven't seen any drop in MPG either. It might be a mile or two per gallon less every now and then, but that could honestly be more dependent on my driving style during that particular tank.

I had the same conversation with the guy at my Discount Tire as well. I convinced him enough to order the wheels for at least a test fitment. Then once they put them on and saw no rubbing anywhere, he was a definite fan of the setup choice. He actually said he would recommend that setup to anyone with a Patriot that comes in to the store in the future. He was a Jeep owner himself, so he was all for helping me get the exact look that I was trying to achieve, no matter what his computer was telling him.

I don't remember exactly what I paid, but the $396 sounds correct, not including the tires. I feel like the wheels ran about $70 apiece and then the lugs and center caps added about $25 to each wheel. It was something along those lines. Whatever it was, I thinks it's been well worth it with all the compliments I've been getting and the great performance I've experienced as well. Can't go wrong.

Looks sick bro. I want some black rims as well. I wish you lived in SD cuz I would consider taking the factory wheels and tires off your hands.

Great to hear you're happy with it. If I end up buying them, it'll be rims only for now as I can't dish out almost a grand including new tires. But we'll see what my bonus turns out to be this year. I hope I can persuade the guy to order them for me without any further trouble. I hate when people talk to me like I have no clue what I'm talking about. I know more about my Jeep than his computer does. I told him all the info needed before he even pulled it up. Alright, the rant is over. Hope to re-post in a couple of months with an update and hopefully pictures

I like the look of these wheels. Is there any advantage to steel wheels over alloys?

New to this forum and the Patriot; why can't I see pics referenced in the thread? Definately interested in upgrading the stock 16" wheels and tires.
