This shows the wires running from the dash to the battery. The front basket lights have a wire which runs up the windshield on the right side, and tied to the roof rack. Little sticky tabs with a zip tie hold them in place.

The rear basket lights come from the reverse lights, and go through the body, popping out a little rubber plug that's in the upper frame of the rear hatch.

No drilling. No leaks. (use silicone)

I was wanting to know how you ran the wiring from your roof basket? Did you drill into the roof or run them through the hatch?

Hey I was just reading your post about transporting your bike with a hitch hauler on the Patriot. I am buying a new 2010 Pat soon and was planning to use a hitch hauler as well but have learned it may not be a good idea with a Patriot. Since you own one maybe you could let me know what you think of it for towing a bike and trailer. I'll be taking it to places like Vedder and Nickelmine. Do you think I will need the 4x4 for this or would a 2wd model be enough?

oh and do u tihnk if i went with 16x7 cragars instead of 8's it would give the tire a little more room in the front and back of the wheel well. where that plastic peice is that everyone talks about pushing in

hey man, i love your jeep. im wondering though how bad the rubbing is? and does the lift and the tire/wheel combo affect overall driving. does the motor struggle to get going or anything? because the motor isnt exactly a beast to begin with, and these tires dont exactly help. (even though theyre freakin awesome!)

whats up man? I have seen pics of your jeep and it is exactly what type of look i want. I was bummed out that i got a silver jeep instead of the green one i was eying until i saw pictures of yours with the cragars and generals. I just got my lift done today on my fd1 and i ordered up some similar wheels and i got the grabbers in 235 70 16. the tire shop says that the tires are going to stick out a bit, and i see that yours do too. do you have any problems with the tires sticking out? also any other advice since i will be running the same tires and wheels. thanks.

Hey , Thats great! I would start a trailrun but to be honest I dont know where to go. Hoping to go with some seasoned Vets so I can learn the ropes as I am fairly green on the whole off road scene.

I live by Parkgate Village so honk if you see me too.
P.S. sorry to hear about the CV joint.
