Done, and thank you for the post. I wish people would actually look at these helpful threads. Seems the usual MO is to just start a new thread asking their question.

Would it be appropriate for me to move your post to the Knowledge Base? You posted in General Discussion.

Hey, you're back! Its been years since I've seen a post by you. Everything OK? Or were you without a Patriot during the interim? Anyway, its nice to have you back on the site. You made a lot of helpful posts.

Just reading one of your old posts and was realized you hadn't been around for a while. Everything OK? Still got your Patriot?

I saw your post about changing the trans fluid in the CVT trans's. I have a whirring sound comin from my Pat at 99k miles and from what I've read it looks like it's the trans and it's fluid.

Is the process to change the fluid as easy as you posted it to Be? The most important step seems to be the amount of fluid drained.

I do most of my maintenance on my own, although I am not a pro or mechanic, I'd rather give this a shot rather than laying jeep $500 to get it done.

    Thoughts? Suggestions? Thank you!

So after they replaced the manifold and the wires for the cooling fan, it ran better and the TPS and Alarm light didn;t come back on. But now running rough again at light gas pressure, and sometimes bogs out when giving it gas, like from a stop, but seems to be ok sometimes, which is odd. And now my TPS and alarm light are coming back on at times again too. Getting frustrated with it at this point. Any ideas? I sure wish you were closer and I could bring it over. Come up and visit some weekend.

when you did the chrome trim on the grill, did you do the whole fin, or just the flat part in the middle? I tried to do the whole fin, and, well all will go under the top, some will go under the bottom, but not all on the bottom, or am I trying to cover too much of the fin? It looks good, but I got better as I went along, and am thinking of replacing some of the first ones I did.

Todde, How warm do you think it gets under the plastic engine cover? That might be a good spot to harvest warm air.
