I just ordered mine yesterday. I had a hard time finding a Patriot to test drive.
Are there any other Wisconsin owners out there?

Grew up in Milwaukee, I know live in VA. Looking at purchasing a Patriot in August.

I'm about 10 min. away from Wisconsin. I've seen a lot of Patriots in dealerships down here, but haven't seen any others on the road but mine.

I'm in the Madison Area. Other than mine, I've only seen one Patriot in the area.

Deal feel through on the Patriot. Dealer could not locate another FWD for us and the one he was supposed to pick up in IL was already sold. So we went and bought(at at good price) a FWD Compass down in Burlington and love it.
CVT / Air/ Cruise/ 6disc CD player/ Elevating Drivers seat/ Black with Grey interior.

I picked up mine about 2 weeks ago. Since I've seen 3, 1 of which flew by me on I-94 near Tosa. I'm in Germantown, WI.

Ordered mine about a month ago. I won't see it until August or so. The good news is I will get an 08 for the same price as an 07.

I had a bit of an issue with the first two dealers I went to. First one didn't want to order one. They kept trying to sell me an 07 Liberty since they didn't have any Patriots on the lot and weren't going to get anymore until the 08's came out.

Second dealer had 4 on the lot, but nothing with the options I wanted. They agreed to order one, but kept dragging their feet on the order and trying to push me into one they had on the lot. I finally got ticked and after 3 weeks of fooling around told them the deal was off. They didn't like that at all and the owner even offered me a loaded Limited at a $4,000 discount to make up for the hassles, but I just didn't want it. If you're going to get a new car, you should get what you want in my book.

I finally went back to my old standby that my family has done business with for 25 years. No hassles, no problems, order taken and deal closed in 25 minutes. The only issue is they are 40 miles away. Oh well.

I have seen 2 on the road just lately. I have yet to see a Compass.

I got lucky with my dealer here in K-Town. I was bored one night and stopped in the dealer to see what I might want to get since my wife said I needed to get a more practical car. My VW cabrio is really not condusive to two adults and a child car seat. (two car seats were going to be a blast that I was willing to risk, my wife, not so much)

Well back to the point, the sales guy got one similar to what I would be looking for and we went for a drive. It loved it!! He was willing to look in the area for me but I wanted what I wanted and he didn't push it. A week later, I went back and placed the order with no problems. It took and hour or so only because my wife's grandfather retired from AMC (you know, pre-Chrysler) so we had to run numbers on the three configs that I was looking at. All-in-all, it was a pretty good experience and they continue to keep me up to date. Hope to have my Pat by the end of the month or early next month.

I have had good luck with my dealers so far. I come in with an attitude that I want a car. My car, not one that you are selling that is close. And if you can't make a decent deal and treat me with respect, there is another dealer down the road who will be more than willing to take my money.

Bought mine in Racine about 3 months ago. Salesman didn't know much and the Sales Manager bascially told us to F-off because we wanted a lower price. Did end up buying there because they were the cheapest out of the three dealerships we went to. And don't get me wrong. We went to this dealerships 3 times. They basically said this is sticker, this is invoice, this is what we want. They didn't want to come down at all. After getting a much lower price in Milwaukee, my wife called the salesman in Racine, telling him what price we have been quoted and we are signing the papers tomorrow and what could he do. He dropped the price lower by $250. When we went to sign the papers the next day, tried to get a little lower.

I was hoping to try and talk them down but Chrysler Employee discount states that I pay what is printed. no more, no less. They might be able to throw in dealer stuff when it arrives, but they can't give me a lower price or we both can get in to trouble.

Don't get me wrong, the discount is pretty good and with tossing in extras beyond what I was looking for, plus tax, title and dealer prep, it was still lower than my max amount which was set a very conservative price.

I've had mine for a week, picked it up last Tuesday just as the big blizzard was starting. Good timing huh? It's my first 4x4/Jeep also.

It was very affordable after a Friends and Family discount, trade-in, and the rebate that was on it. The folks at the dealership were very nice.

I'm in Monticello. Bought mine at Dearth in Monroe. 25D basic Patriot. I added the trailer hitch, mud flaps, fog lights, cargo cross bars and cruise control. Mine is black pearl coat. The vinyl seats are great! Easy clean up and vinyl has come a long way since the 80's. This new Jeep vinyl and comfortable and hard to tell from leather.

i am formally from Kenosha and i had my father's discount. I ended up getting about 6,300 off of the total price with rebates and discounts. I was very lucky to get the one i wanted here in Ohio. I even plugged in 53140 zip for a search to see if i could get something back home. A good reason to head back and visit the family and local bars. i have noticed with our discounts that the dealerships are not terribly excited when you come in. Perhaps they are jealous of our discount. Oh well, sorry about their luck

Kenosha,

You are right the dealer here in K-Town was kinda jerky while dealing with them after the inital order. I am not sure if I would recommend them. With the dealer installed stuff and them not knowing anything about them, it wasn't a great exp.

Good thing I work on the Fourth Parade committe with the owner.

I got one in May 08:smiley_thumbs_up:, white with grey interior for wife but she wanted the beige interior so we bought another one in August 08:pepper: red with beige interior and same packages, so I took the white one and wife now has red one. Both have been great. Wife wanted a Compass but after test driving both thought Pat was better ride. No complaints so far other than when we got first one dealer gave us wrong info over phone and we ended up leasing instead of buying. Unless they have great deals in futre will buy when lease is up.

Update on this info. Have 31455:D on white leased Patriot will not be purchasing going to turn it in Picked up Ralleye for wife in July 09 (she got her Compass):smiley_thumbs_up: when they were giving stimulus, didn't have a trade but still got the $4500 off plus $1000 coupon I had from Chrysler so no need to buy white Patriot. I got 30 plus MPG on the highway as much as 33 and the worst I ever got was 25.9 not bad for winters in Wisconsin. Not rust problems and no flapping hood as I've seen some have problems with.

My family loves the Mexican Coke without Corn Syrup. I bought 6 of them yesterday for "Santa" to leave. I left them in the car!!!!!! Strangely enough, they did not explode.

Hmmmmm, that's not good. I'll have to look very closely. I'm at almost 30K so my non-lifetime warranty is almost up!

Hey, I'm new here, I hope to pick up my black 09 Rocky Mountain edition tonight. I live in Kenosha and bought mine in Kenosha, I'm curently getting jerked around by them. So that's 3 people on this thread that have not had a great experience with the Kenosha dealer.......HHHHMMMM sounds like a trend with them.
