I just got my North Edition Patriot complete with the security and sun and sound pack. I read in the manul about this Universal Consumer Interface but I don't see any wire in the glove box.
What is the Universal Consumer Interface?
What packages is this included?
Can I get it seperatly?
Thanks to all in advance!

What is Universal Consumer Interface?
It's located on each door panel, inside the vehicle. Some are manual and some are electric. They're otherwise known as A WINDOW!
With this feature in the 'down' position, you can 'interface' with anyone that happens to be passing by, regardless of their race, creed or national origin. Of course this option has it's drawbacks, mainly that those with which you are interfacing can do so in return. This is why I choose NOT to use this function and keep my windows UP unless it is absolutely necessary.:D

And now for the serious answer straight from the owners manual:
UNIVERSAL CONSUMER INTERFACE (UCI) — IF
EQUIPPED
NOTE: This section is for sales code RES and REQ/
REL/RET radios only with UConnect. For sales code
RER, REN and REZ touch-screen radio UCI feature, refer
to the separate RER, REN or REZ User’s Manual. UCI is
available only if equipped as an option with these radios.
This feature allows you to plug an iPod into the
vehicle’s sound system through a 16–pin connector using
the provided interface cable.
UCI supports Mini, 4G, Photo, Nano, 5G iPod and
iPhone devices. Some iPod software versions may not
fully support the UCI features. Please visit Apple’s
website for software updates.
NOTE:
• If the radio has a USB port, connecting an iPod to this
port does not play the media. For playing an iPod,
use the separate 16–pin connector port (in the glove
compartment on some vehicles).
• Connecting an iPod to the AUX port located in the
radio faceplate, plays media, but does not use the UCI
feature to control the connected device.
