Not sure about this? Would it work? Would it make much difference?

I've heard it does make it "feel" more responsive. But just because the pedal becomes way more sensitive to your input. Actual performance doesn't change at all.

I think jepstr67 has one of these on his manual 5-speed and he did say it definitely improved driving it...or maybe it was earthworm, i'm not sure.

I set mine to Aggresive Driving. When I have turned the Sprint off, it's like why won't the Patriot go. I'm so used to the Sprint being set for Aggresive Driving that the difference between having the Sprint Booster off and having it on Aggressive is like Night and Day. The Sprint is a bit Expensive but it does work as Advertised and I'm Happy that I have it.

What the sprint booster does is "multiply" the throttle input that is sent to the engine. So for example not pushing the accelerator pedal has a value of 0, and pedal to the floor (WOT) is 100. Now, when you hook up a sprint booster and you adjust how much "performance" you want, it simply multiples the throttle input. If you have it set for "Aggressive", lets just say that it is 2x throttle input. So if you were pressing the throttle 10% the engine would get a signal that the pedal is pressed 20%. From the drivers point of view, the vehicle acts more responsive, because you have been accustomed to the feel of your vehicle for a give throttle input, but in actuality, you would see the exact same performance had you just pressed the pedal 20% to begin with.

These tend to be a controversial topic on message boards. The other car club/forum I belong to has mixed feelings. Some guys consider these things snake oil, as they don't actually give you any performance. Other guys love the multiplied input.

These tend to be a controversial

Jepstr67, where are you ? Don't you have one on your Patriot ? The Sprint Booster works as Advertised, I know because I have one.:)

I sometimes take a pill that does a similar thing.

Performance is the same, I'm told, but it feels better to me.

They are blue.

Gimme 20 minutes, will ya!

If you only knew but you don't. For the Non Believers, it doesn't work. Like I said before, it works as Advertised if you read it.:wow::wow::doh::wow:
