get confused between teh marine pearl and steal blue just because the canadian site shows the marine blue as dark under the color and wheels section

Based upon the Steel Blue color I saw on a Compass in my local dealer's parking lot, I think that video shows the Patriot in Marine Pearl. Hopefully, you'll be able to see the pictures I've attached to this post (first timer here!). Anyway, someone posted an auto show website link on this board some time ago, which is where I shamelessly lifted these pictures.

It's a great color! Dark, but definitely blue, with a slightly grayish tint/hue to it.

Nice pics.....it's making me rethink the color of mine when I finally place my order. :D

I was looking at a compass with that color and it was cloudy outside. It looked like a black shirt washed a few to many times, but your pictures in the sun it really is pretty.

It's my '02 Liberty 4x4 sport. Well, mine until my kid turns 16. Giving the Liberty to him as his first car.

awesome, i had a Saturn when i turned sixteen, was a good car but i would have enjoyed a liberty much more i imagine

Yeah, he definatly loves it. Infact he's already put a window decals on it. LoL.

My son gets the Focus soon. Will be good for him for several years.

Speaking of being good with a vehicle I need to talk to my kid on his driving. My wife has ridden with him on his practice drives with the Liberty. There a dip that she says he's doesn't slow down on. When she trys and corrects him his reply is that the Liberty can take it. "It's a jeep a after all."

...and he is a 16 year old after all. Something to look forward to.

Yeah I was young, stupid and thought the same when I got my Cherokee 4x4 Sport at his age and dogged it. Learned my lesson and I hope to pass that to him before he ruins the suspension or breaks an axel.
