Have ALMOST everything scoped out for my new Patriot - just have to go cut the deal.

I want to see a Sport and a Limited side by side - so we are doing that this weekend. I drove a FWD plain Jane sport edition, loved it, so I want to drive the AWD/4x4 version just to make sure that it feels just as nice.

Depending on financing (Chrysler Financial has 3.9% or 3500 cash back for my area) will depend on what model and options I get. I know what I want for bare min., but if I can get a sweet % then there are a few more things I would like to add. :)

Soooo, I decide soon and order before the upcoming deadline!

I like the Limited with the off color bumper.
I want the M 5-speed, but my better half really wants to drive it and wants the CVT with off road crawl ratio.

We decided on the Jeep Patriot because of our 2 pups (black lab/golden mix and yellow lab/golden mix) and our current vehicles won't be able to transport them much longer! (7 mos and 2.5 mos).

$3500 cash back for a $15k base? Are you sure that isn't 3500 pesos?

Best deal I've been able to cut so far is $500 below dealer invoice for the North 4x4 Package with FD II. My buddy bought a Sportage 2007 and gets delivery tonight, so I'll be taking it for a test drive this weekend... and then ultimately decide Monday which I am ordering.

I just glazed over it, assumed the patriot was in there.

Oh well, still going to the dealer tomorrow to see them side by side and decide which one to order. :)

Hopefully an incentive will flow down the pipe by the time it shows up.
If not, that's just the way the cookie crumbles.

I am on the fence now.

I was able to see a Pat Sport and Pat Limited side by side today.
I like the extra molding and different bumpers on the Limited.

Still haven't decided which way to go.

Probably wait for incentives on an 08 model.

You may have to wait quite some time for incentives on a 08 model....I wouldn't count on seeing any incentives on the 08 Pat until most likely Spring 08.....if you can wait another year for a car....well...go for it but....that's quite a long time though...

I agree. Even though production numbers should be ramped up in time for the 08 model year, I think that the Patriot is going to remain in brisk demand. If any incentives are offered, it will probably be regional or per-dealership.

I can't imagine waiting an entire year for a vehicle once I've made the decision that I "must have it". :)

I also compared a Sport with the Freedome Drive II vs a Limited with Freedom Drive I. Both are 4x4's. The price difference between them was about $1,000. I decided on the Patriot Limited because of the additional comfort and convenience features (even though Freedom Drive II was cool). I got mine for $800 below sticker.

Awesome! I don't usually buy my vehicles with a lot of frills, but when I bought the Patriot Limited, compared to how my vehicles normally come equipped, it is like a luxury car. :D

Well, I had the dealership agree to accept their invoice price (matches edmunds) but I did a handshake on a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport with SelecTrac.

We are going to drive this until some incentives come out on the Patriot.

I even got the wife to agree that she would get rid of her car to get a Patriot so we will be a Jeep house. :)

1 Jeep added to the fleet, 1 to come within the next 12 months (fingers crossed).

Called the dealership to let the guy know we are waiting for '08, and he said they cut new production orders on everything except a certain style. (26E maybe?)

Not sure if that is right or not, but looks like if you didn't have your order in - you won't!!!!!

I am happy with the 2001 Cherokee Sport decision, and we will be looking to add an '08 Patriot next Spring! :)
