Finally got around to installing the Jeep Compass Bumper Insert Decals on the wife's 2008 Jeep Compass. These are reflective white decals and whew, do these things reflect! I like the way the white lettering makes the word COMPASS readable from a distance now, day or night. Added bonus at night, anything reflective on the back bumper just might catch the eye of someone not paying attention and help prevent a rear end collision.

That is a nice find and cheap (price-wise I mean). They have Patriot stickers also! May go with the black so it will contrast with the color of my Patty and still be in line with all other trimmings on the vehicle.

BTW Wade, think about painting that muffler black? I think your vehicle would look really nice that way. I have a co-worker who is going to try it on his Sunburst Orange this weekend.

How noticeable is the reflective properties of the black decals at night? Could you maybe post a night photo taken with the camera's flash enabled, or with a distant light reflecting off the decals? Thx.

I'll at least post here what my impression is on the decals. I think that I'll like it though. I'm pretty new here, and when I get some time here soon I'll try to post some pictures.

The decals got to me yesterday, and today I installed them. I am not going to post a picture because the decal installation did not go too well! I had a very hard time laying them in right and ended up with many creases and some misalignment. It looks real good from about 10 ft away, and that is probably good enough anyway. Does anyone have some application tips for others that want to install these?

soap and water, then apply.. here are mine, i also got some problems, but ended up well.

I just cleaned & wiped area with Methylated spirit & applied decal --Took about 10 mins---Reflective red works well in the Dark.:smiley_thumbs_up:

That was really the problem of those decals...
I can tell that it looks great but if not properly laid it will cause some damages and misalignment....
I prefer you install it with the help of another person to make sure that its properly placed...

They look great, I llike the contrast with the blue, as for 7 of 9 ;) yeah baby
