I would like to thank everyone for their votes. But I would most like to thank the other nominees. Jepstr67 and JoeBecker have contributed much more than I have to this wonderful forum. Its people like those two who keep our forum full of knowledge.

I think why I would like to thank them so much is the fact that they helped me carve out my own niche in this board. While they were giving us hard facts and proven tests, I wanted to do my own thing. That is when I started pushing the limits of my imagination.

I purchased my Jeep in Feb 2008. Having just graduated college, landed a job, and found myself eating tuition loans (not to mention gas prices), I had to find a vehicle that was extremely cheap, got great gas mileage, and had room for me to haul things. Enter the Jeep Patriot. I was lucky to have grown up next to a guy who owned a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealer. After wheeling and dealing with him, he gave me my Pat for the screaming deal of $14,300 out the door, also with 0% financing.

I've always modded my vehicles, and my Jeep is no exception. But if I did want to mod it, it would have to be on a tight budget.

I am really glad that you all enjoyed my write-up on the sub enclosure. That was a pretty fun project. Same with the HID lights, and the interior lights. All these projects can be done on the cheap. You don’t have to go to PepBoys or EBay, to buy things pre made, and priced accordingly. If you want something, just sit down for a couple minutes, and think of how it could be made! That’s the one thing I would like to leave with people, is to figured out how things are made, and make them better.

Again, thanks for the votes, I am very honored. Keep Modding!

I don't mind losing when I lose to one of the best.

I especially like the LED courtesy lights on the floor of your car.

It is great to see another 25D win POTM

Thanks guys. Stay tuned for my new project (I know I said I was taking a break). I will be making LED taillights. Top and bottom red LEDs, super white backup lights, and amber dedicated turn signals....you will LOVE it!

Nice ride - I was considering black but went with silver.

Did you put in the fog lights? Do you have a write up? Just been reading on the forums and some said you could tie them into the light switch on the column. Did you?

Hope to start modding when I get my silver 09 4x4 Sport.

The fogs were installed by me. I have a "sort of" write up, with pictures (search HID projectors), but I didnt really chronical the process. However, I just got some chrome shrouds to finish the project, so I will be taking them all apart again and redoing them. So I will make a write up for it.

As for switches, you can read the thread but I used a remote relay. Basically its your normal 12v auto relay, but it is not triggerd by another action, just by the click of a little remote lock looking device.

Great looking car, congrats!
A question, in a photo of the rear compartment, it looks like there's a storage slot on the passenger side in the wheel well area? My LTD doesn't have that, is it because I have the BA option?
Thanks

Correect. Those of us without the BA option have a storage compartment instead.
