Hey,
I was just wondering if anyone knew if you could get the fog lights on the 4x4 sport. I thought I had seen it as an option before on the website, but now I can't find a definite answer.
Thanks

So I just went to jeep.com, and built a Patriot Sport 4x4 D package...
How much do fog lights now cost? $0. But when you select them, it automatically adds Tinted windows also.
WTF is jeep doing?

Thats right, you have to add tinted windows to get the fog lamps, its the same on edmunds.com if you haven't already selected the tinted windows in your package. When I ordered mine from the dealer, I already had tinted windows in one of my packages so I didn't have to add them but the MSRP for the fog lamps are 120$ (I'm payin invoice but I dont know what that is offhand)

:(No more fog lamps option on sport or north models in Canada for 2008. Aftermarket accessories (from Mopar) only.
Too bad....:mad:Why ????
From reading threads this could cost around 600 $:eek::eek:(fogs, intallation time, computer flashing) instead of the good old 2007 option at 115 $

Do a little hard dealer negotiation. I worked in a deal to have them install the fog lights if I purchased them. They had no problem putting them in, but had trouble getting them to turn off. They kept my Patriot for 2 days and finally realized they had to flash the chip. For my trouble they dropped the price of the fog lights and I ended up getting them free.

I am glad you got it fixed. The fog lights really do come in handy, not to mention the cool factor.

I've seen the MOPAR driving light kit on Ebay. Are you talking about the fog lights that mount on the bumper in front of the grille or driving lights that mount in the bumper?
Patriot Pierre,
I bought some Mopar fog lights for the Patriot on Ebay for only $156 and it came complete with the wire harness and new switch for your steering column. I installed everything myself in about 1 1/2 hours, wasn't difficult at all. I then drove it to my Jeep dealership and the re-set the StarScan system to recognize the new lights. They didn't even charge me to do this. The interior guage cluster even has an indicator light now that illuminates when the fog lights are on.

Went to a dealer in Toronto for a quote on fog lights, mopar part costs 220 CND, about 1 hour labor, it should be less than 300.

Of course you can install fog lights. And even better if you don't have the mopar fog lights at the front bumper then you can install them there. And of course, place any color of bulbs that you want
