Greetings, List!
I went to my Jeep dealership (my last three Grand Cherokees came from there) to look at options for my second car. I need a daily driver that gets good gas mileage, with a little bit of extra room in the back for my occasional camping trips. I have been driving a Saturn Vue. It has been a fine car but the lease is up and I could not find a car I wanted on the Saturn lot.
I went to my Jeep dealership to check out the Libertys. There are some serious rebates offered right now. When I pulled into the lot there was a Patriot Sport in Khaki Metallic. Patriots are still scarce in the Los Angeles area. I had visited this dealership before to check out the first Patriot they had. It was a Limited, and out of my price range.
The window sticker on the Sport was a pleasant surprise. 4cyl. FWD, CVT auto, 17 inch alloy wheels, 6 disc CD/mp3, 4 wheel disc brakes, ABS, side curtain airbags, fold flat passenger front seat, YES fabric seats, electronic stability, remote door locks, and more for $19,075. I took it for a test drive and was sold. They blazed through the leasing process - it helps to be a multiple repeat customer.
Result: two Jeeps in the driveway - both the same color!
