So after reading about the place near Salt Lake City that was doing a free upgrade on the first willing Patriot to come to their doors I decided it was high time to look for a similar shop in the Boston area. So far, nothing, anyone know of a decent sized shop that doesn't just install lift kits on Jeeps but also designs them that might be looking for someone in the area?

Any luck finding a place in the Northeast that will do this? My guess is that after the first one is done in Salt Lake City, the other shops will just copy that design. Any good 4WD shops in your area? We have one called OK4WD here in western NJ - they seem to be on top of most of the new rigs. I saw a modded (lifts, winch, bumper, lotsa lights, big tires) Toyota FJ there the other day. Nice truck but who needs to get 17-18 mpg on HIGH TEST!

No kidding about the FJ, plus the lift kit, the bigger tires and all the weight from those accessories I bet they are getting closer to 10 MPG! I'm a little disappointed in Toyota for not being able to make it a tad more efficient but it sure does look cool! No such luck on finding a shop here but I'm taking 2 months off after I graduate from college before I start work in July and I'm moving into a place with a sweet garage so I'm thinking I will probably spend some of that time figuring out the lift kit myself, I'm pretty handy with a wrench so I will certainly let you know how that goes!

I just saw you are in Worcester - I'm a graduate of that place over on Mt St James - spent 4 wonderful years in and around Worcester. Tell me, are Breen's and the Boulevard Diner still there?

Never heard of Breens, where abouts is it? As far as the Boulevard goes, it is certainly still here and I love eating there on late nights/early mornings, they definitly have the best chocolate milk in town! Although the WPI students typically prefer "The Goldstar" diner over on goldstar blvd. Holy Cross is a great place (I assume thats the one you are talkin about) I have a ton of friends over there, I'm sure gonna miss this city when I'm gone!

That's funny - Breen's (if it's still there) is right on Southbridge St. not far from Holy Cross. It's a cool city - Is Bancroft Tower still there?

Bancroft tower? I think it would still be there even if the world itself came to an end, that thing looks like its been there forever!
