I have created a new set of decals for the Jeep Patriot to make it different from other Patriots. Take a look and let me know if you are interested. I can supply other colors besides silver. I am located in Wisconsin and can ship these custom deacals anywhere in the states! Contact me for more details.

Can you provide a link to a larger picture? These pictures aren't large enough to make out the decal. Thanks.

Try these. I made the files bigger so you can save them and zoom in. I am not sure how to create a link.

I like that it is really nice, clean, subtle. Personally, I'd take the back sticker off though.

Or maybe just a solid one that went tail light to tail light.

Looks really good. I think on a black Patriot a dark grey/gunmetal one would look sharp. As well, I think the rear gate would look better if it covered the gate from tail light to tail light as Weatherman said.

Good job!

This post might have better luck in the Outpost thread for you since I get the feeling it was a sales pitch, unless of course you are talking about giving these away?
More people will know they are for sale if it is in the Outpost thread since that's where we are most familiar with, for finding items for sale.
Just my 2 cents.

I actually was going to make the back from tail light to tail light but for some reason I messed that up. It will be an easy fix. Price for a complete set would be $100.00 + $15.00 shipping. It will not Have text on the back and it will go from tail light to tail light. I will do this and take more pictures. Also, other colors such as orange, black, blue and yellow I have in stock.
If you are worried about messing up the decals while applying them, there is a trick that makes it very simple. I will include instructions with purchase.

Hundred bucks for a square yard of vinyl cut in strips? You have to pay off a new plotter or something? Greed'll kill ya man.

If you only knew how much time and material it actually takes. It takes much more material than 9 square feet plus quite a few trials to get the correct angles and holes in the correct place. I am not going to just make these things for free. If you feel it is too much, find them somewhere else for cheaper. Good luck!

Used to work in a sign shop...and I've run the software and the plotters.

That's a straight strip. You can tell because the rear sticker doesn't fit the curves of the vehicle. I can see mismatches on the ones on the sides too. Might be just a poor installation, but it looks like you still have work to do on the pattern.

Time? Butcher paper and a pair of scissors to make the template, put the numbers in the software, cut the vinyl. Couple hours, maybe? And that's only for the first one....everything after that is open and plot. 2 minutes.

Materials? A 3" strip, both sides of the vehicle...which is 173.6"...I get a little more than 3 square feet per side...what, 6 bucks?

nice job on finding something to create aftermarket for the Patriot. Its sucks there's such a lack of aftermarket stuff for these. Ive been trying to think of somthing to create for these and market too. nice job and very original idea

I've got to agree with rdunlop, and find it hard to believe that 1inchgroup is giving this guy a hard time for making an effort.

Although I do agree, $100 is way more than I'd ever pay for a sticker - even custom cut to size. But I think you pay at least that if you get factory "racing stripes" for a car.

Bingo, and racing stripes are much more simple. Thank you rdunlap! It doen't really matter if I sell any anyway. I own my own plotter for painting and fun and just decided to make my Patriot different from everyone elses. If you don't want to pay, I am not going to be a cheap price whore and go through the effort of cutting and sending you decals for a measly six bucks. (ask 1inch group to do that for you!) If you want to make your Pat a little different and find the price worth it, than fine. It is custom, you pay a price for custom accesories. If they were as cheap as 1inch thinks they should be, everyone would buy them and they just wouldn't be cool and custom anymore!

On another note: I not sure that 1 inch is anything to brag about, but to each their own! :> If you want to make your Pat a little different and find the price worth it, than fine. A couple of things here:

1) 1inchgroup was just stating that the price advertised was a little steep. It may or may not be overpriced. Sales will dictate that.
Anything done from the factory is..well..already DONE so labor is part of that price. DIYs are supposed to be a little cheaper, aren't they? I don't believe he said anything about darned near giving them away but I am willing to bet there is a nice middle ground if you wanted to increase your sales is all. (Just MHO)
2) Lest you want this thread to see the Abyss, I suggest you not get personal with your comments. (On another note: I not sure that 1 inch is anything to brag about, but to each their own! :> ) You may not agree with him, as is your prerogative, but getting by personal, it will almost be guaranteed to be shut down. (and unless I am way off base, that would defeat the purpose of starting this thread to begin with?)

Getting into a verbal war with members serves no one.

Oy vey. Just trying to convey a little common sense to the salesman. It's great when you make a killer profit on two or three items. It might be better to make 5 bucks on a few hundred though.

Personally, I think that racing stripes on the Patriot are kind of like lipstick on a pig. Sounds okay, but the execution is messy and ugly.

Wow. Another 1inch comment. From a guy. That must make it 499 of 500. At least the bleating masses are consistent.

Perhaps the heckler and I should swap pennames....since mine seems more polished.

A couple of observations I've made in the past couple of days, if I may. The women of Jeeppatriot.com seem to be a bunch of hotties. The guys, however, seem to be a bunch of women.

Sorry, I'm an ass...that's just the way I roll. Now, back to your overpriced sticker commercial.

*sigh*
I rest my case.

So even after someone sort of defends you, you take a wide swipe at all the guys in the forums. That's how you roll huh?:icon_rolleyes:

This was a funny thread. I for one kinda like the look, reminds of the old Wagoneers for some reason. Definitely nice that some one used some creativity for a custom look, regardless of if it fits your taste or not.

Hot women Jeep owners? Sign me up for that.

Where are the hot women jeep owners at? Haven't run across any of them here. Then again, I don't see a lot of women working tech support on the graveyard shift either.
