Title:Jeep Grand Wagoneer II

Description:Using a Jeep Commander as a base, I made a Grand Wagoneer with Jeep's modern design language.

Modifications:
Lights, windows, grille were copy/pasted [numerous times to fit], and everything else was brushed.

Looks good, needs wood trim though. Like the classic sharknose on the front.

Put some straight axles under that critter and let em roll off the assembly line. That is the finest looking vehicle I've seen since 1991!

May I post it as an example of what Jeep should build on the Chrysler advisory board?

Suz, I think that looks great, but Jeep needs this in a neo/retro. You're hired!!
Yeh, I know it's a Dodge, but it was all they had to rent back in Apr. '07.

Why is is the people who know Jeeps best do not work for Jeep? Very cool! Love the "in the crate" look.

That wood grain on the side is it. That's what it needed.

I'll take one...the wood grain makes it!

That looks awesome! Much better than the current Commander! I bet that would have sold well had they made that instead of the Commander.

I'm probably in the minority, but I like it best without the wood grain. Also, removed the exposed bolts, and I would buy one in a heartbeat.

What we need here is a Grand Patriot. (with wood paneling of course)

I spent days taking the wood off of my 80 Wagoneer. They never had wood until sometime in the 70's. I like them both ways now. I agree it looks good without the wood and you are right about the bolt heads.

I think it'd be kind of cool to do that; since they did it with the PT, why not the Patriot..

I'm not a PT fan, but I like the convertible woody PT's. I could live with that for crusing to the beach in summer.

Suzq044, you are my favorite artist right now.
Love those Wagoneers! Can't wait to see the 2 Door Full size Cherokee. Now if only Chrysler would take the hint!

Hey suzq044, if you get the urge and the time, how about doing a 2009 Limited in either Stone White, or Sandstone decked out in wood trim, with chrome mirrors and door handles. My wife loves the retro look.

It took forever, but I finally finished the nose today; added the Cherokee, and fixed the wood on the Waggy.

I'll second that. Will The 21st century "J" have a modernized Rhino Chaser grill?

Ok Chrysler pay attention. Stretch that a little and make her an extended cab, add a diesel and straight axles, and I am at the dealership with cheque in hand. Chrysler are you listening?
Awesome awesome work :)

I have little experience with photo manipulation and I have to say I'm impressed. I love the Ram-Box option! How on Earth did you add the background back in so well?

I know this is hard, but can you add more box between the cab and the rear wheels? It still has that SUV wheel base look. Most pickups have the rear wheels centered in the box or more toward the rear. I'm not complaining, you understand, just observing.

Great work. If only Chrysler had you on staff. Brooks Stevens would be proud.

lots of copy-pasting and erasing for the BG.

Believe it or not; It's actually very close to the Ram's dimensions in scale. I started a photoshop over the Ram to play with it a little, and make it more truck-like.. but I found that I didn't really have to do much. The thing that will make this look like a big-truck is the double cab, for some reason the double-cab makes a truck look beefier.
