How Do I submit an article to the Knowledge Base?

It's easy! Simply write your article, take lots of pictures and post them in the correct section of the Knowledge Base! Before your post will be added to the Knowledge Base, it must be reviewed by the staff.

Simply go to the Knowledge Base Submission Forum (http://www.jeeppatriot.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=19) and post your write-up, How-To or informational article.

After you view it, it will be available to view by EVERYONE immediately. However only YOU can edit or add to it until it has been reviewed by the staff and moved to the appropriate section of the Knowledge Base.

Some tips:

1) Take lots of pictures. A picture is worth a 1,000 words!

2) Write it for a beginner. Alot of us here are gearheads, but some are new to modding their Jeeps. Gear your instructions towards someone who is new to doing this type of work. You'll get less questions and it'll be appreciated. The guys who have more experience will benefit from this attention to detail as well.

3) Let everyone know the tools you use. Do you need to buy/rent any special tools? Even better, if you are using wrenches, let us know what size wrench you use for each task. It makes life easier for everyone when they know exactly what tools to bring out to the Jeep instead of the entire toolbox.

4) How long is it going to take? What is the difficulty level?
