Has anyone felt their Patriot get a case of the shakes? Was driving home from drill and it was pretty bad. The whole truck was vibrating....it felt like the engine and/or trans was "jumpy". Certainly not the smooth ride I have been used to for the last 350 miles. Did take it for a quick spin and it seemed to be ok but....
Does any have any ideas?

Could it have been ice or snow on one of the wheels throwing it out of balance?

I don't know...it snowed all day today, but I didn't see any snow packed in on the front tires...I am going out here in a bit and will get back on the highway so I'll get it up to speed. hopefully it was a one time thingy!

It was probably snow in the wheels, maybe on the inside. It doesn't take very much to throw out of balance

Agreed..it happens quite often after a good snow (or romp in the mud) ;)

After a good snow followed by some freezing rain, the roads can look smooth but feel like you are driving on railroad ties.
