My 2010 Patriot has started making a short squeak from the nearside front wheel area when turning left, but only at very low speeds, I'm no expert but think it might be a brake binding, has any one any ideas, much appreciated.

Does this happen when braking? Most all brake pads these days have a wear indicator built into the pad, but they generally only make noise when not braking. It's a small metal tang that will scrape the rotor and squeak. Your front pad could be low and shifting enough in it's holder to let it squeak when turning.

Pull the wheel and have a look, could be dirt, or something else. Mine squeak a lot when wet. How many miles on your Patriot?

Less than five thousand on the clock, and serviced 3 weeks ago. Never does it when braking. Did a search on forum and found it appears to be a common problem on Patriots, with no real cause or cure found.
