Just moved from a Subaru Fozzy to a nice dark grey 2007 CRD Sport.

Typically there was no bloody manual with it and some bugger has nicked the torch from the rear roof light  I'm trying to work out the dash computer and am getting bongs all over the place.

That said it is roughly the same external dimensions as the fozzy so I'm just getting used to the invisible corners.

Couple of questions, has anyone tinted the rear of their Patriot? The load space is not as big so I'm going to have to ditch the load bay cover. Anyone got pics of something similar?

Finally I'm shooting over to French France soon and was wondering if anyone has bothered putting beam deflectors on their headlights. I have a set but typically Jeep is a bit too esoteric on the lists/diags. Anyone know where the deflectors need to be placed?

No longer have Pat , but my Sport came with rear factory tints. I never used my rear tourch cos it never worked anyway !! Load cover should roll back all the way to the back of the rear seats.Just chuck a dust sheet over your load. When you eventually sus out the EVIC , you can set it for US or metric , set it for US because in UK -Us is caliberated for Imperial so no probs. I buggered about with the EVIC on my Avenger the other day & ended up with all the info in Spanish. Then couldnt remember how to get it back to English.Dont know about the deflectors , I never did drive mine on the wrong side of the road. It may have info on the deflector pack itself--or ask a man from Halfords!!

I have a house in France and drive there regularly in my Patriot. I set the headlights at the lowest level, which seems to be OK.

sounds like a good idea.

The kit level is just so sparse. I whipped the emergency triangle and fire extinguisher from the subaru then realised there is nowhere to put them apart from in the spare wheel well. Massive shortage of cubby holes and misc storage

Yea I know what you mean. My youngest daughter has an older model Kia Carens , that thing has boxes , cubbies , holders , 3x power points & secret floors all over the place plus airline pockets in the back of the front seats. Plus back seat room you could hold a disco in. All this in a vehicle slightly shorter than a Pat.
