Though I have been dying to take my wheels offroad, Yosemite valley isn't a good place for such things. Too controlled. But I had lots of fun with photo ops!

Hey!
Were you there last Sunday (the 8th)?? I saw a khaki Pat driving into the Yosemite valley from the direction of Fresno as we were coming home from a trip on the other side of the Sierras...
AWESOME pics! I'll be up on Yosemite Wed, Kings Canyon on Thurs and Sequoia on Friday. And yes...I'll be getting a pic of my patriot driving through the "log tunnel" in Sequoia.

Nice pics - thanks for sharing.
I have always loved the "If you can read this - FLIP ME OVER" license plate frame" - especially great on a Jeep!

Close... I was in the valley from 6/2-6/7. However, it was like a Jeep reunion on my way up to Glacier Point. Mostly new model Cherokees. I did see one Khaki Pat 4x4 in the parking lot at the point. I should have taken a pic.

Did you get the Jeep wave from anyone? Or any acknowledgment at all...positive or negative?

I usually try to initiate the greeting. On the mountain roads you usually don't get the opportunity.:Racing: I think I greeted a few in the valley while I was there.
I didn't see the owner of the Pat at Glacier Point, I would have said something.:smiley_thumbs_up:

It's an all day hike, but well worth the effort. Bring something like driving gloves if you plan to take the cables to the top. It's easier to hold on. Have fun!:smiley_thumbs_up:
