I was wondering if anyone else had this problem. When I'm in rush hour traffic and slightly pressing on the acceleration pedal, my patriot jerks forward in a lurching motion. It only stops after I let off the pedal. Could it be a fuel injection problem or a transmission problem?? Anyone know?

Sounds like you need to reset your accelerator pedal. Turn the ignition key to the "on" position, but do not start the engine. When all the lights have gone out, SLOWLY depress and then SLOWLY allow the accelerator pedal to return to the top position. Somewhere between 8 and 10 seconds for the entire operation. See if that doesn't solve your problem.

Do you have the Auto-Stick or no?

I don't have autostick. I reset the acceleration pedal and that seemed to work. I appreciate all the help!
