the sales manager at my local dealer told me that he ordered 30 Special Edition Patriots from the factory that should arrive in just over a month. he concludes they offer more options with a lower end cost, as well as some unique additions to make it an SE. i wonder what this could potentially be... im not getting my hopes up tho.

Hey...As a dealer in Canada and A five star dealership, I asked My General Sales Manager about a special edition patriot. He contacted the regional sales manager and they both knew nothing about it. He may have ordered a Patriot, and then had some decals made up and be marketing them as a special edition. If you want to ask him what the "special' Features are, and let me, I can tell you if it is worth it.

Maybe they'll get the North Edition down south... In fact, they should call it the Southern Edition as it comes with a/c... I didn't find it usefull last winter ;-)

What I think this is : Not Special Edition but North special option
I chose that on my Pat 2008 that I will pick up this Wednesday. It's a pretty good deal if you check the price of each options plus the body side molding and leather steering wheel (not an option anywhere else except for the limited)

the North special option code number AL3 includes
-steering radio control
-speed control
-heated front seat
-body side molding
-leather steering wheel
-Aluminum wheels
-215 60 17 Firestone tires
(You can go for 215 65 16 OWL all terrain for an extra 175$) option code is TRX Possible only with the North special option (AL3)

price of North special Pack or option (AL3) 1050$ cad

well, 'if' there IS such a thing, it will have a code, such as the "26E Pkg" or the "26D Pkg", etc....just ask him 'what package' it is (not just "SE" pkg).

i'm just curious now.....like "Booster".....:confused:
