Everytime i put something in the cubby hole under the stereo it goes flying when I turn. To fix that, i bought a $4 roll of black shelf liner and lined both that cubby and the one by the passenger airbag. And now everything stays where its supposed to:)

Just notcied in the second pic how obvious the half@$$ed job the dealer did on my "enviromental protection package." The shiny half is where they wiped it down with that garbage they use.

I did exactly the same thing with the central cubby some time ago.

But I usually put my phone in the Lock shifter hole, of course, its depended on how wide is your phone:)

Where can you buy this liner? Or where did you buy it?

Most stores that have kitchen supplies will sell this as drawer or shelf liner. Target, Fred Meyer, Canadian Tire, etc.

Thanks! I actually have a large one that's used underneath the rug in the living room to keep the rug rom sliding (we have hard wood floors). It's tan though and my Patriot has a black interior.

I bought the black stuff at Wal-mart with the pots and pans and what-not like mentioned above. Autozone sells it too, but they cahrge the same price for a little piece that Wallyworld charges for a whole roll. They should have all different colors.

I bought one of those cheap universal floor mats from the autoparts store (like $2.99) and cut it to fit, then used some adhesive to hold it in place. I like this look better because if you cut it right, and use the edge of the mat, it looks factory.

Good thinking. I did the same thing. My phone and Zune would constantly fly out of there. I have also used foam that they sell at craft stores in my Saturn. One side has adhesive on it and it works very well. I put it in a few years ago and it still holds perfectly.
