HEY, whats the biggest tires the will fit on a 16' stock rim for my 2010 i know a ton of people ask this question but i dont want my rims to rub at all. I don't have any lift yet so far its all stock. Please also recomend the best trail/mud tires the dont make to much road noise.

THANKS to everyone

so far without out any rubbing at all its a 215/70/r16 tire and for those sizes heres what i have found to be good off/on road the above size is an inch taller then the stock 205/70/r16. your stock tire is about 27.07 in tall i believe the below tires are one in taller but will not rub at all.

215/70/r16 bfgoodrich all terrains 28.1 in tall

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=BFGoodrich&tireModel=All-Terrain+T%2FA+KO&partnum=17R6ATAKORWLV2&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes

215/70/r16 general grabber at2 28in tall

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=General&tireModel=Grabber+AT+2&partnum=17TR6GRAT2&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes

some people like the 215/70/r16 yokohoma Geolandar A/T-S 28in tall

Let's give it a shot...

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=BFGoodrich&tireModel=All-Terrain+T/A+KO&sidewall=Raised%20White%20Letters&partnum=17R6ATAKORWLV2&tab=Sizes

well, that's interesting...it would appear our new owners are intercepting the link and sending me to an autoguide.com shopping page instead.

Let's see if I leave out the specific tire size, and just link to the brand/model:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=BFGoodrich&tireModel=All-Terrain+T/A+KO

Nope, they are definitely intercepting the tirerack link and trying to sell me stuff related to BFGoodrich tires...problem is, I don't think this should be in my list of alternate suggestions:

Let's try BF Goodrich's site directly:
http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/tire-selector/name/all-terrain-t-a-ko-tires?

Well, that works, so it must be autoguide doesn't like people linking to tirerack.com for some reason. Maybe shoot an email to the new admins and ask what gives.

One way around this annoyance is to use TinyURL.com. They do a redirect for free and shorten it as well. So here is your first link as above submitted through tinyurl.com: http://tinyurl.com/4edl3fa
Or use the preview link so people will see the actual webaddress before going to the site: http://preview.tinyurl.com/4edl3fa

Todde702 thanks for trying yourself, i sent a message to one of the site admins i don't think that's right that they're redirecting our links to an advertising site.... I'll keep you posted on what the admins tell me.

thanks,

Hello,

The work around for this would be to copy and paste the link. Tirerack links do not work on our network.

Thanks,
Dwayn

I recently put on the Yokohama Geolanders on my FDII, work well off road so far. Noisy on the highway though.

What size and are you lifted?
I have them on my F250 4x4 (33's) and on my TJ (35's)

Um, can't remember, and the jeep isn't here for me to look at. Same size in the tire thread here that says they won't rub. They just barely touch the inside back of the wheel well on lock to lock.

225/65/17 I think.
