That IS! a good write up !!

It was, and I printing it for my friend with a Compass. His major complaint is the road noise. Now he's thinking of an 11.

it seems nice,but the design is not very off-road-ish.
it looks like a step towards a luxurious suv.
i personally like them the spartan way,more off-road oriented.
the patriot fits that description better i think.
but then again,it targets a different customer type.

I really like the improvements they made to the Compass, it is now on a par with my Patriot as far as driving ability and I think it will appeal to a lot more folks than the old Compass. I think my wife could go for it as my 08' Patriot is a bit "rough" for her. The softer interior and Junior Grand Cherokee body makes it a better package than the older model as far as I'm concerned. I hope both the Patriot and Compass sell well enough for Chrysler to rethink dropping the line.

I personally like the Patriot look better, but several folks have said to me that it's "boxy", so for them I say go look at a Compass.
