I live a little north of Austin and I'm looking to buy a Patriot. Looking to read up on Lonestar state experiences. Please post the dealer name and location, price paid, Options added, and any rebates or incentives included.

Bluebonnet Motors in New Braunfels (Bluebonnet Jeep). I've purchased 3 vehicles from them - two Dodge trucks and my Patriot. They had the best price every time, and they've got the best service & attitude of any dealer I've done business with. Ask for Joe LaBanca (sp?) - he has got to be the most laid-back low-pressure car salesman in the universe! I had to ask HIM for the paperwork to buy the Patriot!! Cool dude. He also told me to bring it back for the first oil change at no charge, and make sure the tank is empty 'cause he'll fill it up for free! Tell him Darrell in San Antonio sent you.
I got a 2007 Patriot Limited 4x4 with the FDII, leather, sunroof, 450 watt Boston Acoustics sound system, CVT, and all the usual "Limited" upgrades (17" alloy wheels, power everything, rear wiper, roof rack w/ crossbars, cruise, stereo controls on the leather steering wheel, etc). The sticker was about $25,500, but I paid $18,990 last month (the Pat only had 10 miles on it, too). I got it the weekend BEFORE the $2.99 gas promo started, but I did get a $500 gas card from Chrysler & a year of free car washes from the dealer. The $2.99 gas doesn't include any rebates, so I came out better without it (at least for now!).
Shop all the ads around the area, and Bluebonnet will beat them all. I took the deal on the 2007 to several other dealers just to make sure it was a super deal, and they all said there was no way they could get me that much vehicle for that price. They all tried to convince me that BB didn't have that vehicle available (the old bait & switch), but Bluebonnet did and I bought it a few hours later.
Good luck finding "your" Patriot - they are getting hard to find - most dealers I went to were complaining that they can't keep them in stock.

bought mine from Labanca as well. Great guy and great dealership. I drove 3 hours to buy from them vs buying from the stealership in town. I paid invoice and they never once tried any of the normal dealership stupid tactics.
