While my Patriot was at the dealership last week for routine maintenance, I made a point to track down the service manager to ask him how the dealership felt about lift kits/warranty issues. I mentioned the Rocky Road Patriot kit (designed and built right here in Utah) since he had not heard of anyone releasing one yet. Turns out they are all for it. Met the suspension lift guru at the dealership and he also seems very excited to do one on a Patriot (he even suggested cutting away some plastic to make room for bigger tires...where is our SEMA front bumper!?!). It will be a done deal in the next couple of weeks and I will be sure to post some pics.

sounds like you found yourself a good dealer. My dealer here told me my warranty would be gone if i did a lift... Im thinking about contacting chrysler direct to see what they have to say. Guess thats what i get for living in a yuppie suburb that happens to have a jeep dealer.

It all sounds great, I am eager to lift it and get the extra two inches of clearance, gotta say though, at this point in my relationship with the Patriot, I am not ready to cut up the wheel wells to gain room for bigger tires...I think you are on the right track with the 225s though, should be no problem clearing those...On another note, I am curious if you opted for the crank windows like I did...is that the case?

I just spoke to the service manager at Metro Chrysler here in Ottawa and he actually referred me to a company here in Ottawa that does aftermarket springs and suspension called Malmberg...I've dealt with them before.
All he said was that if it's found that the aftermarket part had anything to do with a part failing prematurely then the part would not be covered but that they haven't had many issues with lift kits.
Seemed very friendly and eager to help.

That sounds about like the run down that I got from my dealer. Look into the Rocky Road lift kit that so many users on the forum are opting for...good thing is that if anything goes wrong with the lift kit itself, RRO will replace the parts at no cost.
